How to assemble a Juliana Steelbase
It is important that your greenhouse is mounted on a strong base which, is well anchored to the ground. The base must be level and true or it will be very difficult to attach the frame and virtually impossible to fit the polycarbonate. For these reasons special care must be taken when concreting the base into the ground. |

To assemble the base you need the following:
Start by making sure that the site where the greenhouse will be is clear, level and even. |
You will receive the base wrapped in clear foil. Please check that it is undamaged. |
The base will be labelled to show which greenhouse it fits. Please check that you have got the right one. |
Check that the sides and ends have the correct dimensions (dimensions can be found in the assembly instruction) |

Place the base onto the site where the greenhouse will stand. |
Measure the base diagonal. The measurement must be the same for both diagonal measurements. This ensures that the base is square. |
Place a stick through every ground anchor so that you know where to dig the holes and remove the base. |
Dig or drill the holes for the ground anchors to be connected to the ground. The holes should be at least 80 cm deep so that the base is fitted to frost free depth. |
Before you put the ground anchors into the pipes you have to splay them. |
Level the base and check the diagonal measurements again to ensure that the base is level and square. |
Pour the concrete into the holes and let it harden for 24 hours. Don't put too much water into the cement. The less water the stronger concrete. |
Now the base is ready and you can mount the greenhouse on top. |
